Model leader-board can be checked here.
Groups will be asked to predict how the members of congress would vote on a particular set of bills. To facilitate this, you will be provided with large datasets covering, among other things, biographical data, voting history, and most importantly which bills were written by lobbyists and who those lobbyists represents.
The data will be released on May 11th at 12:00 noon, 10 days before the convention, and groups will have seven days to perfect their models. Over the course of the week the accuracy of your teams model can be checked here where there will also be a leaderboard that keeps track of how other groups are performing.
It is very important to note that your position on the leaderboard may NOT reflect your final placement (although it should give a pretty good indication). The test set that we use for the final scoring is not the same test set you will be checking your model against.
Also, while you are allowed to submit as many models as you want over the course of the week we kindly ask that you close the app when it's not being used to prevent our server time from being unnecessarily used up.
FINAL MODELS AND REPORTS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY May 18th, 12:00PM SHARP TO
